As one of the largest names in sports, Nike had some big shoes to fill when it came to the ladies golf department. The Ace Summerlite is a swing and a miss when it comes to performance on and off the golf course. An exclusionary narrow design, minimal signs of weather proofing and minimal traction on multiple surfaces led to the Ace Summerlite's low score in 2023's testing.

A raised and narrow sole promotes ankle caving on even minimal approach shots. Traction was minimal even without the presence of moisture. Comfort takes a backseat with the Ace Summerlite. The tongue becomes trapped under the laces which causes bulking and discomfort on the top of the foot.
